About Us
Luxury Travel features only 2,000 exclusive hotels in cities and resorts throughout the world. Hotels are only permitted to be displayed on Luxury Travel if they have official five-star or higher status. This is to maintain the integrity of the positioning and enhance the luxurious user experience. There are city guides for the top luxury destinations, which are currently being developed with unique information on luxury activities and attractions, such as upmarket shopping routes.
Luxury Travel sends hundreds of thousands of potential guests directly to our featured hotels' reservation systems without any intermediary players. We call it direct + connect. There are no distribution fees, simply a standard booking commission for each transaction that actually materialises at the hotel. Our direct + connect approach provides direct access to hotels' best available and yielded rates and enables customers to earn their loyalty awards in the normal way. Hotels process the transaction and deal directly with the customer so they can increase CRM activities and exploit brand equity.
Specifically, when a customer clicks on the 'Book Now' icon, the reservation enquiry goes directly to the specific hotel's reservation booking engine page. Luxury Travel's IATA number is automatically embedded in the booking form for tracking and commission payment. It really is that easy! Luxury Travel can interface with all the major booking engines and formats and most independent label systems.
Luxury Travel has official travel agency status, with its own IATA / TIDS accreditation. We are full members of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). Not only do bookings go to the hotel reservation system directly, we also utilise up-to-date content provided by the hotel chain. This is further enhanced with our own destination-specific information. We also feature hotel photographs and city maps for a growing number of destinations. Quality content is critical to maintain the integrity of Luxury Travel and correctly represent our affiliate partners' hotels.

Luxury Travel works very closely with the hotel chains to correctly represent their brands and hotels. As our bookings go directly to the hotel brand reservation system, there is full rate integrity, last room availability and no discounting of rates nor publishing unauthorised net rates. We do not negotiate deals directly with individual hotels within chains. We believe that this 'brand friendly' approach creates long-term partnerships and added values.
