Chestnut House was originally the village farmhouse which dates back in part to the mid-1500s. 7 years ago, the property was fully renovated as a 5 diamond village hotel. With 7 fully-appointed double en suite bedrooms (two with access from outside the main building), we aim to offer only the very best in style and personal service. We have Z-beds available for children and all rooms are available for single occupancy. Only 5 minutes from the M5 but in a secluded and very quiet village, this makes the property ideal for stop-overs and as a base for business or for exploring the wonders of Somerset. You would have to look far and wide to find anywhere as quiet and peaceful as the old village of Woolavington.
