The Greenway Information
General Hotel Information
Introduction
The Greenway is a country house hotel situated just outside Cheltenham nestling in the golden glow of the glorious hills of the Cotswolds.
Taking its name from the pre-Roman path which runs beside The Greenway, the building dates from its construction in 1584 and represents a fine example of an Elizabethan manor house. Set in a garden of national renown, the manor house became a hotel in 1947 and successive owners have since ensured that The Greenway has retained its historic features and charming character.
Accommodation
The luxury accommodation at the Greenway is generally agreed to be some of the finest in the Cotswolds.
The 21 en-suite bedrooms, located in both the main house and the old coach house, comprise 15 luxurious bedrooms, 4 junior suites, a master suite and a four poster room. All the rooms are light and spacious and give an air of luxury and romance. Each room is individually and tastefully decorated and has outstanding views of the Cotswold Hills or garden.
