Keswick Hall Information

LOCATION

Keswick Hall is located in the heart of Virginia hunt country, close to historic Charlottesville, the University of Virginia, and only minutes from Thomas Jefferson's historic Monticello. Formerly known as Villa Crawford, it has been sensitively restored and extended to create a unique and intimate hotel, a perfect hideaway for romantics and explorers.

TRANSFERS

Delta, United Express, US Airways, Colgan Air and Continental serve the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport. Piedmont Aviation Service, adjacent to this facility, is available for private planes and jets.

From Points North on Interstate 95

Interstate 95 to Fredericksburg
Take Route 3 west to Route 20 south to Orange
In Orange take Route 15 south to Gordonsville
At Gordonsville take Route 231 south, which leads into Route 22 west at Cismont
Travel past the Keswick post office to Route 744
Turn left and proceed to Keswick Estate entrance
From Points South on Interstate 95

Interstate 95 to Richmond
Take Interstate 64 west towards Charlottesville
Go to exit 129 (Keswick/Boyds Tavern) and turn right on Route 616
Travel 3/10 of a mile to Keswick Estate entrance on left
From Charlottesville

East on Route 250 Bypass to Shadwell
At Shadwell make a left turn on Route 22 east
Go 1.5 miles and make a right turn on Route 744
Proceed ahead to Keswick Estate entrance
From Richmond

Interstate 64 west
Take exit #129 (Keswick/Boyds Tavern)
Turn right on Route 616
Travel 3/10 of a mile to Keswick Estate entrance on left
From Washington DC

Interstate 66 west to Gainesville exit
Travel on Route 29 south to Culpeper
Take Route 15 to Gordonsville
At Gordonsville take Route 231 south which leads into Route 22 west at Cismont
Travel past the Keswick post office to Route 744
Turn left and proceed to Keswick Estate entrance
From Washington DC

Interstate 66 west to Gainesville exit
Take Route 29 south into Charlottesville
Take Route 250 east towards Richmond
Travel out of Charlottesville to Shadwell
At Shadwell, make a left turn on Route 22 east
Go 1.5 miles and make a right turn on Route 744 and proceed ahead to Keswick Estate entrance v

The 600-acre Keswick Estate provides the ideal setting for Keswick Hall and the adjacent Keswick Club - an exhilarating golf and pampering facility offering an indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi, Fitness and Exercise Center, tennis, a full complement of massage and beauty treatments, an informal dining room, lounge and bar, and an 18-hole Arnold Palmer-designed signature golf course.

All 48 guestrooms suites at Keswick Hall are unique and feature different themes such as aviation, fishing, maps, the circus, tennis and music. Each bedroom is uniquely furnished and elegantly appointed with the cherished possessions of a family home

MEETINGS

Keswick Hall has more than 7000 square feet of meeting and conference space, making it one of the best settings for business and social gatherings of delegates from 8 to 400. With its naturally beautiful surroundings, luxurious guest rooms, exciting leisure facilities and sophisticated technology, this year-round venue is rated among America's best for social gatherings and events, including high-caliber meetings, executive retreats, corporate gatherings and weddings.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

In the restaurant at the Hall, guests can enjoy superb cuisine and fine wine. The furnishings are a blend of antique and contemporary designs, including many pieces from different private homes.

In the Main Dining Room, guests can enjoy a combination of European classic recipes and the best of modern American cuisine, followed by an after-dinner glass of port by the fireside in the Great Hall.

The Club is the perfect backdrop to enjoy cocktails, lunch or dinner. Choose the Palmer Room for intimate dining, the Golf-View Terraces for casual lunch or the Bar for cocktails after a round of golf. A light fare is also offered at the pool Pavilion.

Take afternoon tea in the comfort of the Tea Room or Morning Room and enjoy a fine cigar in the Library. For your personal convenience, in-room dining is available.
