Hotel Introduction

The Sheraton Cairo Hotel, Towers and Casino are a landmark unto themselves. The two towers soar high above the cityscape on the west bank of the Nile, announcing the hotel’s position as a luxury destination filled with glamour and the personal attention you would expect of a five-star property—but don’t always find.

The Sheraton is close to fantastic shopping boutiques, the Egyptian Museum, and the Opera House. Before or after your explorations, the hotel provides many additional leisure pursuits and upscale means to relax. The onsite casino features popular games such as blackjack and slots; nine restaurants and bars indulge guests’ appetites for everything from Japanese cuisine to deli foods; and an oval-shaped jewel of a swimming pool, health club and spa, and shopping arcade provide ample ways to pass the time.

The 650 spacious rooms and suites offer balconies on which to enjoy panoramic views of the Nile. Inside, guests are pampered with comforts such as 100 percent Egyptian cotton linens, deluxe toiletries, and plush bathrobes, while entertainment options include high-speed Internet, DVD player, and satellite channels.

Dining
A diverse line-up of restaurants is sure to please any appetite, with gourmet and casual settings to meet your changing moods. Among the options: La Mamma, an Italian restaurant with live entertainment; El Mawardy and Aladin, serving Asian cuisine; international eatery Arrous El Nil; Sapporo Teppanyaki, known for preparing some of the best sushi in the city; and the deli fare of Cafe Complet. The Tea Garden offers live entertainment along with its beverages, and Z Pub and Stiletto Lounge present delicious drinks and a menu of light meals and snacks.

Spa
Xanadu is the Sheraton’s health club and spa, where guests can work up a sweat in the fully-equipped gym and then unwind with a soothing spa treatment. Other avenues to relaxation can be found via the outdoor swimming pool, steam room, whirlpool, and beauty salon.

Hotel Features
“Le Mirage,” the hotel’s stunning oval-shaped swimming pool, is indeed a sight for sore eyes. In addition to lots of space to splash around, it features a swim-up bar that stocks refreshing beverages and plenty of lounge chairs surrounding the pool where sun-bathers can soak up some rays.

Meetings
The eight meeting spaces at the Sheraton include one room—the Saladin—that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a reception or business convention. If you’re looking for a more intimate space, there are several elegant rooms to choose from, whether your event is professional in nature or simply a private dinner for a few close friends. State-of-the-art audiovisual and conferencing equipment add to the appeal of the hotel’s function rooms.

Location
The heart of Cairo’s commercial district is the location of many notable landmarks including the Sheraton Cairo Hotel. Other prominent attractions such as the Opera House, Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil Museum, and Egyptian Museum land are all within easy walking distance of this well-placed hotel.

13.3 miles from Cairo International Airport. Transfers to the hotel can be arranged through the hotel concierge.
