Cliveden was originally conceived as a hunting lodge for a man who cared for little beyond “pleasure, frolic or extravagant diversion.” His legacy is still evident in the sheer range of entertainments available today.

In the Cliveden Boathouse, you will find a lovingly restored flotilla of vintage launches.

Tennis and squash courts, two fully equipped gymnasiums and the Cliveden Spa are all provided within the grounds, while horse-riding, golf, fishing, shooting and archery are available locally.

Finally, the von Essen fleet of single and twin engined helicopters is at your disposal with a heli-pad in the grounds. Not only can they transfer you to and from home, office or airport, but they are available for pleasure flights over those sights you might otherwise miss.
