Hotel Introduction
An elegant townhouse hotel that’s centrally located to provide quick and easy access to all of the hot spots, the Academy also captures a retreat-like feeling that encourages guests to relax completely. This boutique hotel is stylishly designed, but with comfort as the most important feature. The couches aren’t an artistic statement; they’re for sinking into.

The amenities inside the hotel include elegant meeting rooms, state-of-the-art technology throughout the property, and a delightful breakfast menu that begins the day on a high note. The grounds outside add to the tranquillity of the interior, featuring an exclusive garden with gorgeous, fragrant flowers and the soothing sounds of a fish pond.

The 49 rooms and suites at the Academy were conceived to ensure the best night of sleep you’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Thoughtful touches such as high-end toiletries, Frette Egyptian cotton bed linen, plush bathrobe and slippers, iPod docking stations with radio and alarm clock, and satellite TV create a home away from home that’s nothing short of luxurious.

Dining
Breakfast at the Academy is the perfect way to begin a day in London, with your choice of a full English breakfast or a lighter Continental breakfast. All of your traditional favourites—such as smoked salmon on scrambled eggs or free-range eggs with sausage and grilled tomatoes—are available with the full breakfast, while a selection of pastries, cereals, meats, cheeses, and fresh fruits make up the Continental option.

Hotel Features
The Academy can design private event menus ranging from breakfast to a working lunch to canapés to a dinner buffet.

Meetings
Choose from six elegant event spaces to host your business meeting, social gathering, reception, or private dinner. Capacity ranges from an intimate dinner for seven in the Conservatory to a reception for 50 in the Gardens. Each room comes equipped with a long list of business tools: LDC projector, screen, DVD and VCR players, microphone, flipcharts and white boards, and a laptop.

Location
The Academy Hotel is idyllically placed in London's world-famous West End, renowned for its shops, boutiques and theatres. A short walk from the hotel are the prestigious shops of Oxford Street, the celebrated nightlife of Soho, charming restaurants of Chinatown, and the history of Trafalgar Square, The British Library and The British Museum.

From London Heathrow take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then transfer by tube to either Goodge Street Station (0.2 miles from the hotel), Russell Square Station (0.4 miles) or Euston Square Station (0.6 miles). From London Gatwick take the Gatwick Express into Victoria Station, then transfer by tube to either Goodge Street, Russell Square or Euston Square Station. Equally accessible are London’s other airports: London City (10.4 miles), Stansted (37 miles) and Luton (33.6 miles).

The hotel Concierge can be contacted in order to arrange a transfer. Please note that a fee will apply.
