Hotel Introduction
A townhouse hotel consisting of three buildings, the Cranley captures all of the charm of the 1860s era in which it was constructed. The Victorian architecture offers a welcoming respite for discerning travellers who want a tranquil, luxurious hub from which to explore the city.

This small boutique hotel located in South Kensington has a unique charisma that results from its period fittings and architecture, as well as its central location. Guests reap the benefits of indulging in their enchanting surroundings in the hotel—or perhaps conducting a bit of business—and then being able to walk to some of London’s most popular attractions.

The 39 rooms and suites offer an elegant Regency colour palette of blues, plums, creams, and mustards, with delightful details such as handmade four poster or half-tester canopied beds. Antique mahogany furniture, brass finishes, and oil paintings add to the effect, which is designed to transport guests back to a more graceful period, while also providing the latest high-tech essentials that today’s well-heeled travellers demand.

The concierge staff stays abreast of the multitude of dining options within walking distance or a short cab ride of the Cranley. They can not only make recommendations, but reservations as well. In the morning, the Cranley offers a delicious continental breakfast delivered right to your door. In-room dining is also available at any time; the hotel staff will make all of the arrangements on guests’ behalf.

Hotel Features
The beds in all of the rooms and suites are covered with hand-stitched Irish linens and wools.

The Penthouse Meeting Room and Breakout Room are ideal spaces to host an intimate meeting, conference, or social event. The Penthouse Meeting Room, which accommodates up to 12 guests in luxurious style, features natural daylight via two oversized windows, direct access to a private terrace, and high-speed Internet access. The Breakout Room is adjacent to the Meeting Room and can host four people for interviews, breakout sessions, or private meetings. Secretarial services and a full suite of audio-visual tools are available for any event.

The Cranley London Hotel is purposefully placed in South Kensington, one of the most sought-after locations in London, and ideally positioned to enjoy many London attractions. Its location could not be better for the myriad of specialty luxury goods stores and restaurants within walking distance. The Cranley is also a short journey from Notting Hill, the Royal Albert Hall and the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre.

From London Heathrow take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then transfer by tube to either Gloucester Road Station (0.2 miles from the hotel) or South Kensington (0.5 miles). From London Gatwick take the Gatwick Express into Victoria Station, then transfer by tube to Gloucester Road or South Kensington Station. Equally accessible are London’s other airports: London City (11.7 miles), Stansted (41 miles) and Luton (34.7 miles).

The hotel Concierge can be contacted in order to arrange a transfer. Please note that a fee will apply.
