Hotel Introduction
The five-star experience at the Halkin includes discrete yet attentive service, serious glamour, and chic décor. A modern Italian sensibility pervades the interior, though touches of the exotic are present as well, somehow suggesting a seductive feeling throughout the public and private areas.

The Halkin has received a long list of honours—including being named to the list of “Favourite Hotels in London” by the Sunday Times Travel Magazine Readers’ Awards 2008 and Gold Winner for “Best Small Hotel” courtesy of the Visit London Awards 2007. It also offers award-winning dining at Nahm, where ancient Thai traditions meet modern innovation.

The 41 rooms offer a sleek, modern aesthetic and neutral colour palette that’s softened by sensuous curves and textures such as leather, wood, and taffeta. The bathrooms, among the largest in London, are done in luxurious marble and feature separate walk-in showers. Sink into pure comfort with 100% Egyptian cotton linens, goosedown duvets and pillows, and Shambhala toiletries. Internet access—also available in all public areas of the hotel—as well as an interactive television and a CD/DVD jukebox are among the high-tech amenities.

Dining
Nahm offers exquisite Thai cuisine that’s so extraordinary, it’s become the only Thai restaurant in Europe to have earned a Michelin star. Chef David Thompson bases his dishes on ancient royal Thai traditions, presenting sophisticated lunch and dinner menus to tempt discerning diners. The hotel also offers master cookery classes, which allow guests to experience a hands-on lesson in Thai recipes, ingredients, and cooking.

Spa
The contemporary gym at the Halkin provides guests with a full array of exercise options, including treadmills, cross trainers, exercise bikes, hand weights, a bench, and stretching area.

Hotel Features
Kids are given a royal welcome at the Halkin. They get to wrap up in their own child-size bathrobes, enjoy milk and cookies at turndown, treat themselves to the delights of a Playstation 2 console and games, and watch family-friendly movies.

Adding to the sense of luxury, the staff at the Halkin wears Giorgio Armani ensembles.

Meetings

With accommodation for up to 25 guests, the room also offers abundant natural daylight and in-room technical tools such as high-speed Internet access and an LCD projector and screen.
