Hotel Introduction
The Metropolitan lives up to its name, taking a modern, stylish approach to providing impeccable hospitality for discerning travellers. Expansive windows show off its ideal Park Lane location and the dazzling London skyline, pouring excitement directly into the chic hotel. Innovative hotel designer Keith Hobbs has created a space that blends clean lines and neutral colours with exotic Asian-influenced accents.

This design sensibility is carried through the Metropolitan and into the hip Met Bar and iconic Nobu, one of the best restaurants in London. It also inhabits the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape, a revolutionary spa conceived to promote whole-body wellness.

The rooms and suites are a model of sophistication. They feature a soothing colour palette, pear-wood panelling, suede upholstery, Egyptian cotton linens, and fine goosedown duvets for a luxurious night of sleep. Other upscale amenities include COMO Shambhala toiletries, WiFi and high-speed Internet access, interactive E-TV with 60 channels, music jukebox, CD and DVD player, and Internet radio.

Dining
Nobu is the internationally famous brainchild of celebrated Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa. The menu is an innovative blend of traditional Japanese cuisine and South American accents, converging in dishes like hamachi sashimi with jalapeños. The Met Bar offers an elegant ambience where mixologists create some of the most talked-about cocktails in the city. It also serves light bites until the early hours of the morning, along with a healthy “Afternoon De-Light” menu.

Spa
The COMO Shambhala Urban Escape is a tranquil retreat from everyday stress, where guests can get a top-notch workout on the modern equipment and then relax with indulgences such as massages, acupuncture, reiki, and facials within the Asian-inspired environment. Private yoga instruction is also available.

Hotel Features
The Metropolitan also offers 19 apartments, which are an ideal solution to maximize privacy or create more space for families. The spacious Metropolitan Apartments share many of the hotel’s posh amenities and also feature large master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, dining rooms, and sleek pine and black granite kitchens.

Meetings
The five function spaces set a refined tone that’s appropriate for meetings, while also incorporating the chic style and flood of natural light that’s a signature of the Metropolitan. From intimate dinners for four to festive cocktail receptions for 80, there’s a room that’s perfect for every event. Each of the unique rooms includes all of the latest high-tech gear to ensure the complete success of any function.

Location
The Metropolitan Hotel is conveniently located on one of the most significant thoroughfares in London - Park Lane, where it melts into the famed Hyde Park Corner. To the East of the hotel is Mayfair, London’s most exclusive district. The hotel is ideally located only a stroll away from Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Bond Street, Knightsbridge and world-famous Piccadilly Circus.

From London Heathrow take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then transfer by tube to Hyde Park Corner Station (0.3 miles from the hotel) or Green Park Station (0.4 miles). From London Gatwick take the Gatwick Express into Victoria Station, then transfer by tube to either Hyde Park Corner or Green Park Station. Equally accessible are London’s other airports: London City (10 miles), Stansted (39.2 miles) and Luton 32.8 miles).

The hotel Concierge can be contacted in order to arrange a transfer. Please note that a fee will apply.
