Hotel Introduction

More sumptuous townhouse than imposing hotel, the Hôtel San Régis sports a magnificent décor that impresses even the most discriminating guests. Converted from a private mansion nearly a century ago, it currently showcases a traditional French design that includes plenty of gilt, original paintings, opulent fabrics, and stunning objects d’art and antiques. Yet it somehow manages to exude a warm, welcoming feeling even amongst such glamour.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location in the heart of the city, at the crossroads of ultra-fashionable boutiques and cultural powerhouses. The San Régis also provides its guests with excellent dining in a hidden gem of a restaurant and delightful lounges.

Each of the 44 rooms and suites is individually decorated for a completely personalized ambience. Materials such as porcelain, wood, bronze, silver, Italian marble, and decorative etchings come together in unique combinations to create rooms that recall the styles of Louis XV, Louis Philippe, Napoleon I, and the Regency period. In addition, modern technology such as wireless Internet service has been incorporated throughout.

Dining
Le San Régis is among the poshest hotel restaurants in Paris, though it’s largely a secret kept for guests of the hotel, which means that diners can enjoy the traditional Provencal cuisine without battling shoulder-to-shoulder crowds. In the morning, the elegant restaurant offers a choice of a continental or American breakfast. The Salon des Boiseries is a sophisticated retreat featuring a Winter Garden and English-style bar. Relax over tea or a cocktail and simply sit back and soak up the atmosphere.

Hotel Features
The building that houses the Hôtel San Régis dates to 1857, when Edmond Petit commissioned a private townhouse in what was already a fashionable Parisian address. In the 1950s, it became even more integrated into the couture scene with the addition of neighbour Christian Dior and the continual patronage of Harper’s Baazar Editor-in-Chief Carmel Snow.

Meetings
The suites and public spaces—such as the restaurant and lounges—at the Hôtel San Régis are ideal venues for intimate meetings. In-room amenities such as wireless Internet access and multiple phone lines, combined with the chic décor, provide an efficient and luxurious meeting space.

Location
Superbly located adjacent to the world-famous Avenue des Champs Elysees - in the heart of Paris - this luxurious hotel is the ideal base from which to explore a some of the finest addresses in Paris, including the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Palais des Congrès and the Louvre.
