Hotel Introduction

A historic monument, the InterContinental Paris Le Grand is a magnificent structure overlooking the famed Opera Square. It puts guests of the hotel tantalizingly close to many of the cultural icons for which the city is known. The imposing façade melts into an interior that features Empire style—a décor that reflects Napoleon’s love affair with all things grand.

A large luxury hotel has many perks, and among them is a considerable list of delightful amenities. At the InterContinental, that list includes an upscale fine dining restaurant, low-key lounge, English-style bar, opulent spa, high-tech workout facility, and a remarkable number of event rooms. Extensive onsite business services also come in handy for both professional and leisure travellers.

Its 470 rooms and suites, many of which benefit from an enchanting view of the Garnier Opera house, include four presidential suites that are designed to be authentic luxury apartments in the city. The glitzy theme of the hotel is continued into all of the guestrooms, which feature colour schemes of blue, red and gold, as well as wall engravings that suggest music and dancing.

Dining
Café de la Paix offers an enticing blend of traditional French fare and cutting-edge dishes, with an entirely new menu debuting every two weeks. In addition to the spectacular lunch and dinner options, the restaurant serves full American and Japanese breakfasts, which are big draws for many locals. La Verrière winter garden is a quiet sanctuary, where guests can unwind as they indulge in delicious morning and midday meals. With its refined British flavour, Le Bar is a fun destination for appetizers and a selection from the extensive beverage menu.

Spa
The InterContinental’s I-Spa by Algotherm delivers the benefits of Mother Nature in the form of spa and beauty treatments and traditional and Eastern massages. All of the products used are from the sea and are derived from state-of-the-art research conducted by the specialists at Algotherm. Other ways to relax include the rejuvenating sauna and modern onsite health club, featuring a range of cardiovascular equipment and weight machines. Nature lovers may prefer the jogging trail outside in the Tuileries Gardens.

Hotel Features
The InterContinental provides a V.I.P. Lounge for the most discriminating guests. This takes the already-impressive services one step further, with benefits such as a complimentary breakfast buffet, appetizers, and cocktails—all served in a two-level lounge that overlooks the dazzling sights of the city.

Meetings
A staggering 21 function rooms—able to accommodate 10 to 600 attendees—are available to host events ranging from personal to professional. A long list of business tools, as well as professional assistance such as secretarial and courier services, are available.

Location
The Intercontinental Paris le Grand boasts the stunning location overlooking the Opera Square and neighboring Opera Garnier. Conveniently situated close to some of the finest addresses Paris has to offer, including the Louvre Museum, Place Vendôme, Champs Elysees and Galeries Lafayette.
