Hotel Introduction

Located adjacent to Place des Vosges—one of Europe’s most charming city squares—Le Pavillon de la Reine is surrounded by green space and gorgeous flowers that impart an impossibly romantic feeling. The 17th century townhouse is a picture of sophistication, starting with a lobby that features oil paintings, elegant furnishings, and gorgeous plum-coloured drapes.

The hotel’s owner has created an ambience that makes all of her guests feel at home—or at least as though they’re in the home of an elite peer. A few of the delightful touches include a wood-burning fire in the stone fireplace, elegant carpets covering large flagstones, refined panelling, and rustic beams adorning walls and ceilings. Guests can walk to the Place Bastille and Picasso Museum, while on-site amenities include a new spa and an honesty bar, where you can pour yourself a drink whenever the mood strikes.

The 56 individually decorated guestrooms are beautifully accented with Louis XIII furnishings, lavish window treatments, and period fabric designs. They also include a line-up of wonderful amenities such as marble bathrooms, wireless high-speed Internet access, and flat-screen TVs. Even more impressive, however, are the views, which overlook the front patio, sumptuous courtyard, or quaint streets.

Dining
The lounge, decorated with Dutch tapestries, provides a refreshing spot to enjoy breakfast. Crossaints and baguettes, courtesy of the next-door bakery, are always fresh and delicious. When the dinner hour arrives, Le Pavillon de la Reine’s ideal location positions guests just a few steps from Ambroisie, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant that’s among the best in the world. In addition, room service is available 24 hours a day.

Spa
A newly opened spa at the hotel gives guests a variety of ways to indulge and re-energize their bodies. Break a sweat at the fitness centre, relax in the Jacuzzi and hammam, or treat yourself to the services of the beauty parlour.

Hotel Features
Le Pavillon de la Reine sits on a charming historic site. The Place des Vosges was constructed on the orders of Henri IV, who died before it was finished, and opened in 1612 as the Place Royale. High society immediately flocked to the exalted new locale, with visitors including Madame de Sevigne, Racine, La Fontaine, and Moliere.

Meetings
The Salon Verlomme, with its sophisticated design and excellent natural light, is a superb venue for receptions, meetings, and banquets of up to 35 people.

Location
Uniquely draped in greenery behind a flowering courtyard in Place des Vosges, one of Europe’s most picturesque city squares, the Pavillion de la Reine is strategically sheltered from the busy galleries and cafes of Le Marais, and a stone’s throw from world-famous Notre Dame Cathedral and the nearby Picasso Museum.

1.8 miles from Gare du Nord, Eurostar Station
18.8 miles from Charles de Gaulle Airport
11.5 miles from Orly Airport
Transfers to the hotel can be arranged through the hotel concierge.
