Hotel Introduction
Gorgeous stone, pillars, and archways are just a few of the architectural details that make it immediately apparent that the Hotel Caruso Ravello isn’t your average luxury hotel. It has a centuries-old tradition of attracting elite travellers, as well as celebrities and artists—all of whom have fallen under the spell of this unique hotel.

Guests are welcomed by the scents created by the surrounding lemon groves and vineyards. Once they reach their spacious, beautifully decorated rooms, they discover the 48 rooms and suites offer even more thrills for the senses: elegant décor, large marble bathrooms with double vanities, and views of the sea. Suites offer remarkable opulence that will satisfy even the most demanding traveller.

When it’s time to explore the hotel, guests will discover two gourmet restaurants and two luscious bars, a full-scale spa waiting to pamper you, and a variety of meeting and event rooms that provide the ideal backdrop for any gathering.

The Caruso Restaurant serves a lovely breakfast, while the Belvedere Restaurant provides gourmet cuisine for lunch and dinner. Both restaurants feature traditional Neopolitan and regional dishes. The Cocktail and Piano bar provides delicious beverages amid a sumptuous interior with 18th century frescoes. The Poolside Bar serves up cocktails as well as light lunches and snacks.

The Caruso Wellness Centre is committed to helping guests shake off the stress of everyday living with an impressive array of treatments that will revitalize body and mind. Choose from massages, aromatherapy, body sculpting, wraps, facials, eye treatments, lympho-drainage, manicures and pedicures, waxing, hair services, and more.

Hotel Features
Among the luminaries who’ve stayed at the Hotel Caruso Ravello are Virginia Woolf, Tennessee Williams, Jacqueline Kennedy, Alexander Fleming, John Huston, Margot Fonteyn, Gina Lollobrigida, and Humphrey Bogart. Gore Vidal wrote his landmark novel, Myra Breckinridge, while staying at the hotel.

The Neopolitan furniture throughout the hotel was created exclusively for the Caruso. Also featured in some of the rooms are 18th and 19th century antiques, as well as reproductions of furnishings used in an 11th century palazzo.

Meetings and Events
Two event spaces—the Wagner Room and Colonne Room—can be used for business meetings, special events, or banquets, and the adjacent rooms may also be joined to create a larger space for hundreds of guests. In addition, the hotel’s two restaurants are prime locations for elegant gatherings.

Located on the highest point of Ravello, the hotel is perched on a cliff top 1150ft (350m) above sea level overlooking the spectacular Mediterranean of the Amalfi Coast. The hotel is still well connected, with complimentary shuttle buses operating to/from Amalfi and Positano. You can also reach other main cities from Naples Central railway station (64km), while Naples Capodichino (65km) is also within easy reach.
