Each villa is unique, from the secluded and enchanting Tree House Villa, to the ultimate fun-and-sun lover’s retreat, the Beachfront Villa.

Dining
The Koi restaurant serves sumptuous and delightful meals in an environment that leaves you in awe as it is located in plain sight of a tumbling waterfall, the resort’s infinity pool and the sea beyond, and the majestic forest. Have intimate meals at one of the resort pavilions, or in the Wine Cellar, a one-of-its kind in the region. Up-to-date, it has over 4500 bottles of premier wine brands, and a special section for the owner’s exclusive collection. The Pantai Grill serves fun snacks at picnic tables by the beach.

Spa
Like the rest of the resort, the Solace Jungle Spa was built into the forest surroundings. Private timber pavilions are situated amongst tree trunks and vines, and rocks left as they are at the expense of a little space in private outdoor shower stalls. Feel calm as island spring water flow from bamboo troughs into wooden bowls placed in every room. Treatments includes using natural ingredients products by friendly and kind spa therapists. Featuring an Ice Room as well as Sauna room, and private pavilions with outdoor showers and Jacuzzis.

Hotel Features
The nature of this resort is truly, the nature surrounding it. Over 50 different types of hibiscus flowers are planted around every structure for the namesake of the resort, Bunga Raya. The construction process involved careful planning with the islands administering body to ensure that existing tree trunks were not cut, and looking at the resort from its front, you almost cannot see the villas, hidden as they are by the canopies and foliage of the trees. A trek through the forest is available, with a Canopy Bridge for guests to experience the atmosphere of the forest from the tops. Diving and snorkeling is fantastic, as the resort is located in a marine park renowned for an abundance of marine wonders.

Meetings
The Koi Ballroom is able to hold a gathering of 150 persons, and functions can be arranged at different settings around the resort like the Koi Restaurant, the beach, and private and intimate weddings at the beach or jetty pavilions.

Location
Resting in Polish Bay of Gaya Island, the resort is a short boat ride away from Kota Kinabalu City’s main boat terminal , Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. Located in the state of Sabah, Malaysia, that means that natural and cultural wonders as well as urban luxuries are all available nearby.

Recognition
On the 11th of November, 2010, this resort received the FIABCI Malaysia Property Award 2010 for the Resort Development Category.
