Set in the hillside (400 metres) on the out skirts of the village of Estreito de Camara de Lobos, this very attractive Quinta has superb views across vineyards down to the south coast. Funchal center is 15 minutes away by car and the town of Camara de Lobos is about 10 minutes. The Levada Norte starts very near the hotel, so it's ideal for walkers. A courtesy bus operates regularly to Funchal.

The gourmet restaurant "Bacchus" is housed in the original house, built in 1914. It has a very local decor to compliment excellent Madeirian and gourmet cuisine. As an alternative the Adega restaurant in the grounds serves an excellent slection of local Madeirian specialties in a most enjoyable rustic atmosphere.

The heated swimming pool with removable enclosure is surrounded by ample sun terraces where sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are free. Two free saunas are also on hand for guests to enjoy. The views over the hotel's gardens are really special!
