Description
Loch Torridon Country House is an award-winning hotel that stands at the foot of the most spectacular of the Scottish mountains. It was built in 1887 as the grand shooting lodge of the first Earl of Lovelace. Set on the shore of Loch Torridon in 58 acres of parkland with resident Highland cattle, it is now carefully restored to its Victorian splendour, with ornate ceilings and wood panelling. Bedrooms have magnificent en suite bathrooms and views of the ever-changing Highland scenery. Guests enjoy beautifully presented Scottish dishes in the dining room overlooking the loch and mountains. There is an extensive wine list and a famous selection of over 300 malt whiskies.There's a full range of outdoor activities. The Torridon Mountains are areas of great natural beauty with stunning wildlife including many rare birds. You can also fish in the nearby lochs or observe the seals and otters at play.

From the A832 turn left onto the A896 at Kinlochewe and drive for about ten miles. The hotel is 1.5 miles past the turnoff to Torridon Village.
