Hotel Introduction

Goodwood Park Hotel has a long history as a premier luxury hotel, but this property, which dates back to 1900, also boasts the latest technology and modern comforts desiged to pamper and indulge its elite guests. The five-star hotel has been magnificently restored to its original beauty, welcoming visitors with exquisite Colonial details such as grand columns, superb carvings, plasterwork, and arched entryways.

The décor may be timeless, but the amenities are fully modern. Take your pick of seven restaurants and lounges, serving food as diverse as deli items and gourmet Chinese selections. Stay in shape with a workout at the fitness centre and then cool off with a dip in one of two outdoor swimming pools. Relax with a spa treatment or get a makeover at the salon.

The Goodwood Park Hotel’s many intriguing wings hold a total of 233 tastefully appointed rooms and suites. A delightful mixture of classic and modern design, it’s the warmth—and luxurious touches—that draw people back again and again. Though each room features hand-selected furniture and plush comforts, the Rose Marie Suite is the right choice for pure opulence. Once described as “one of the most beautiful (suites) East of the Suez,” it offers a study with leather panelling, walk-in closets, bathroom with sauna, exclusive rooftop garden, and a private lift to access it all.

Min Jiang specializes in fine Chinese cuisine, including signature dishes such as dim sum and barbecued fare. Gordon Grill is the place to go for succulent steaks and a lenghthy Continental menu. The Coffee Lounge offers Western foods and local favourites such as Taiwan porridge, while L’Espresso is the perfect café in which to enjoy its namesake beverage, afternoon tea, or an evening cocktail. The informal Highland Bar is a casual spot to grab your favourite aperitif or peruse the expansive wine list.

Spa
A variety of massages are available at Goodwood Park Hotel, all of which are performed by highly-skilled therapists. Active guests appreciate the well-equipped fitness centre, which treats visitors to a full range of the latest cardiovascular and weight machines. Other ways to indulge include the two luxurious swimming pools ensconced in a lush tropical setting or a beauty treatment at the onsite salon.
