Hotel Introduction

The Hotel Orfila debuted in 1999 in what was once a 19th-century palace, and todays design incorporates the grand style of the original building and the period in which it was constructed. The traditionally luxurious feel of the hotel is accomplished through details such as a charming carriage entrance, period furnishings, ornate mouldings, a striking skylight, and sleek marble.

Just minutes away from some of the most famous art in the world, many consider the Orfila a work of art in itself. This pet-friendly hotel boasts loads of charm and top-notch facilities including a tea room that plays host to a delightful afternoon tea, a cocktail bar serving classic and modern beverages, a lush patio, a glorious garden abloom in the summer, and lovely function spaces for social or professional gatherings.

The 32 guestroomsincluding 12 suitesare individually decorated with a charming mixture of antique furnishings and grand reproductions collected from all over Europe. The impressive amenities include sitting areas furnished with breakfast tables, spacious closets with plush bathrobes, marble bathrooms that feature upscale toiletries, and Internet access. In addition, all guests receive a bottle of wine upon arrival.

Dining
Lovers of great food will enjoy the array of culinary delights the hotel offers throughout the day. Orfilas Garden, an elegant restaurant designed with quintessentially European flair, presents gourmet cuisine and a thoughtful wine list that has been created specifically to complement the menu. Al fresco dining is always a treat in the summer, but with the terraces newly constructed glass covering, diners can enjoy the view and outdoor space all year long. The English-style bar is a wonderful discovery, with its traditional atmosphere enhanced by fabric-covered walls. A British-themed tea room and lounge is the ideal spot to relax and partake in the ritual of afternoon tea.
