The hotels signature restaurant, Goizeko Wellington, offers a modern take on Basque haute cuisine. The stylish Japanese restaurant, Kabuki Wellington, presents superior-quality sushi and fish within a chic, minimalist ambiance. La Llave de Oro is a casual eatery serving breakfast through dinner and famous for its menu of delicious sandwiches. Hotel Features
The current version of the Hotel Wellington debuted in 1952 and, since its opening, has hosted the likes of Gene Kelly, Ernest Hemingway, Spanish royalty, and contemporary Hollywood celebrities. The Spanish royal family thought so much of the hotel that in 2005, the King of Spain chose the Wellington to house the wedding guests of his son, Prince Philip.
