Hotel Introduction

One of New York’s premiere luxury boutique hotels, the Waldorf Towers lives up to its prestigious name with remarkable amenities, exceptional style, and discreet service. The awards continue to pile up, with the Waldorf Towers recently being listed among Travel + Leisure 500’s “Best Hotels in the World” and named the “Best Overall Hotel” by Travel Savvy Magazine.

The extensive offerings of the Waldorf Towers mean that you don’t have to leave the hotel to experience the best of the city. Take advantage of diverse dining options that offer delicious choices from morning to night, an ultra-exclusive spa that caters to the individual needs of its clients, and a long list of elegant meeting and private dining spaces to accommodate any gathering or special occasion.

Individually decorated guestrooms include details such as fine antiques and glorious period reproductions that transport guests to the charming French countryside or the glamour of Old England. The oversized rooms include large marble bathrooms with separate tub and bath, down comforters and pillows, oversized closets, and Bose hi-fidelity clock radios. Many suites feature pieces transported from the original Waldorf=Astoria, which was razed in 1929 to make way for the Empire State building.

Four distinct restaurants provide signature dining throughout the day. Start your day at Oscar’s American Brasserie for a bountiful breakfast buffet and great a la carte lunch options. Peacock Alley, home of the Waldorf’s celebrated brunch, serves up contemporary cuisine from breakfast through dinner. Finish your day at Bull & Bear Steakhouse and Bar—delivering outstanding steaks and seafood—or at Inagiku, a stylish gourmet Japanese restaurant. If you want to recreate the delightful dishes at home, the hotel offers the Waldorf=Astoria Cookbook, which includes trade secrets about their most famous food.

Guerlain Spa, which uses its eponymous products during the customized spa and beauty treatments, is a relaxing, tranquil environment from which your body and spirit will emerge refreshed. In addition to a full menu of spa treatments and aesthetic therapies, the facilities feature a spa boutique and luxury personal training studio, where you can exercise in a modern, well-equipped space.

Hotel Features
Hotel guests are treated to a Chamber Magic show on Friday nights in one of the Tower’s historic suites. Steve Cohen, called “The Millionaires’ Magician,” impresses crowds with his sleight-of-hand and mind-reading acts that recall a more refined era in which parlour entertainment was the highlight of social gatherings.

The well-trained and experienced event planning staff at the Waldorf Towers can assist in planning functions for 10 or 1,010 guests. Everything from food to entertainment to gifts will be handled, and they will guide you in the selection of an event room from the hotel’s list of 40 spaces. Business travellers will enjoy the Business Centre, offering all of the tools necessary to complete tasks while away from home.

The Waldorf Towers is superbly located only two blocks from world-renowned Fifth Avenue and famed Rockefeller Center. This prestigious hotel is a short stroll from the Broadway Theater District and Grand Central Station.
